Personal Injury & Compensation

If you have been injured — on the road, at work, or through someone else’s carelessness — you may be entitled to compensation. We run these claims on a No Win, No Fee basis,* and the first consultation is free.

Insurance companies deal with claims every day — you do not. We level the playing field: we handle the insurer, the paperwork, the medical evidence and any disputes, so you can focus on recovering. Having a lawyer by your side can make a real difference to what you ultimately receive.

Car & motor vehicle accidents (CTP)

Every registered vehicle in NSW carries compulsory third party (CTP, or “green slip”) insurance. If you have been hurt in a car, motorbike, truck or pedestrian accident you can claim against it — whether you were a driver, passenger, rider, cyclist or pedestrian, and even in the early period if the accident was partly your fault.

Claims can include weekly income support while you cannot work, payment of your medical and rehabilitation treatment, and — where your injuries are more than minor and someone else was at fault — a lump sum for your pain and future loss. Some steps have time limits within 28 days of the accident, so it pays to get advice early.

Workers compensation

Workers compensation supports employees who are hurt or made ill because of their work: a portion of your wages while you recover, your medical, hospital and rehabilitation expenses, a lump sum for permanent impairment, and — in the worst cases — support for dependants.

We also act where an insurer has disputed, reduced or cut off your entitlements — those decisions can often be challenged. Funding for workers compensation disputes is generally available through the Independent Review Office (IRO), so pursuing your rights usually costs you nothing.

TPD & superannuation claims

If injury or illness has stopped you working, you may have a Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) benefit sitting inside your superannuation — many people are covered without knowing it. We check your cover, prepare the medical evidence, and run the claim with the fund and its insurer.

Public liability & other claims

Slip and fall injuries in shops and public places, injuries at rental premises, dog attacks and other accidents caused by someone else’s negligence can all give rise to a claim. We also act in medical negligence matters.

Common questions

What does No Win, No Fee mean?
For eligible personal injury claims, you do not pay our professional fees unless your claim succeeds. Conditions apply and we explain them — in writing — before you commit to anything.
What can I claim for?
Depending on the claim: weekly payments while you cannot work, medical and rehabilitation expenses, domestic assistance, and lump sum compensation for permanent impairment, pain and future loss.
How long do I have to claim?
It varies by claim type, and some steps are due within weeks of an accident. Do not wait — a quick call will tell you exactly where you stand.
Will I have to go to court?
Most compensation claims resolve without a court hearing. If yours does need to go further, we prepare it properly and stand with you at every step.
